Frequently Asked Questions

Make sure to have up to 3 hours of dedicated time for the photoshoot, on your chosen day. Kids and parents are the best when they are full of energy and they are not tired at all, so chose a time that doesn’t conflict with kids sleeping time. Depending on the type of shoot, have all your outfits ready. For photoshoots, we do recommend a minimum of two outfits.

Send us your enquiry with all your details also give us details about who is going to be photographed, along with the age range so to make sure Flashback give you the best possible experience. It would help us plan and suggest the best style for photography. Please provide us with date along with your preferred timeframe for the photoshoot. We will then send you the confirmation of your appointment. Along with that we will also send you Flashback’s bank account details with a unique customer reference number for a deposit payment of booking fee. Appointments are only booked once we receive the deposit. The remainder of the payment can be made on or before your appointment date.

If the photoshoot is taking place in your home then we suggest to use a spacious room mainly for safety reasons, as our photographers will bring a lot of studio equipment. If it is a photoshoot for children, then we recommend keeping some of the children’s toys out, so as well as being able to create a story through our photographs, your child will remain entertained during the photoshoot. When the photographer arrives, they will suggest some ideas for the photoshoot, i.e. bold/playful. If needed we will provide props, however, our clients and customers always have the last say. We will make sure your dreams are bought to life.

All pictures taken on the day will be available for preview after the photo shoot. Retouched images will be sent to you within two weeks. Any products selected by you will be delivered within 4 weeks time.

On the day of the shoot, we will take a lot of pictures, once the photographs are captured, you can then select your favourite images on the day (quantity depends on the package you select). After selection, we will then retouch and bring all your images to perfection. You can make a final selection of the images once all the images have been edited and perfected.

Home Based Photoshoot
The appointment can be rescheduled 3 days prior to the appointment date, however, if the appointment is to be rescheduled within 3 days your appointment, there will be a fee of £50. There is no cancellation fee if you give us 7 days notice. If the appointment is cancelled within 7 days, there will be a fee of £50. Any appointments booked within the above mentioned time frames will be considered as non changeable and non refundable.

Mini Session
If you need to reschedule your appointment you may do so free of charge as long as we have at least 24 hour’s notice. If we have less than 24 hour’s notice you would need to pay your £40 booking fee again when rebooking your appointment. If you wish to cancel your appointment, you may do so up to 3 Day’s before your appointment and your booking fee will be refunded. Within 3 Day’s of your appointment we can’t accept cancellations and we would not be able to refund booking fee. Any appointments booked within the above mentioned time frames will be considered as non changeable and non refundable.
